flightnerd86 Posted November 10, 2021 Share Posted November 10, 2021 (edited) I made a new Gates Learjet 35a panel for FS5.1! This was a real brain twister, I did a lot of trying and failing and went through various revisions before I finally managed to get it together. Modding FS5 panels is among the most user-unfriendly experiences ever... Started off with Uwe Strauchs A320 panel, and built on it, borrowed elements from David Durst FS2000 Lear panel, as well as icons from Marc Suxdorf and some graphics from Peter Kruesis MD80 panel. I went for an updated avionics look, as I liked the layout of Strauchs panel. Had to use some time consuming procedures and a lot of old programs to get everything the way I wanted it. Converting palettes was a real bitch for some reason. But it paid off, and I feel this is the panel Microsoft should have shipped in 1996. It goes together wonderfully with Terry / Mike Hills Learjet 35a, which I have also done a repaint of.
