Can't edit and save aircraft.cfg

This has just started happening, I went to add a new texture to an aircraft, did everything like i always did.

Added the new lines to the aircraft.cfg then saved, but it added a new text file instead of editing and saving the original, see screenshot.

In case you think it is just this aircraft I tried a few other and the same thing.

Any ideas please.

I sorted it! when I used to save I always used 'Save As' and it always worked, so just out of curiosity I just 'saved' and it worked, don't know why it has changed all of a sudden, maybe an update or something.

two tries to do :

1) run your editor as administrator

2) change access rights on your /simobjects/airplanes directory and remove the readonly attribute (with care, eventually, do it only on the aircraft.cfg file)

Yes I first thought it was the access rights but they were OK, as I said I tried others that worked before, also I never ran as administrator so never tried that.

Just seems strange it started happening, like I said might have been an update, not sure.
