MSFS store version mot loading

Recommended Posts

Hi, I’m not sure why they would suggest Alt+Enter. It just alternates between full screen and windowed mode. Maybe they suggested it so you could check which update of the sim you’ve got installed (it’s displayed at top left of windowed mode)

As for the sim not loading… it needs the latest update and for some reason, you must have the Xbox app installed to get this. You’ll find the app in the MS Store.

Now whether or not you will still need the app after you’ve updated is another question. I personally have had the Xbox app installed since the MSFS alpha and it’s never caused any problems so I just leave it in.

Steve

Thanks for the quick response.i agree I had to add xbox before the latest msfs update could be loaded and that's when the problem started I am now being asked to sign into xbox to continue! I don't have an xbox account I downloaded MSFS from MS store, all very frustrating as my little Cessna is siting in my virtual hanger waiting to fly

Not a problem.

It’s been a while since I did it, but I think you can sign up to Xbox using your usual Microsoft login details.

It’s not the same as Xbox game pass though, so you’re not charged anything.

This might help
