Updates Permission

It's telling me i dont have permission to download the update , far as i know i am signed on as admin anyone know how to change the settings to allow it to update??

Did you install the Xbox app update? Once that is installed you will be able to update the simulator.

thanks for the repley, ok so i did the xbox update but now it still comes up on startup that i need to install a new mandatory update like it said before but now it goes to the store and the updates are gone and fs closes and i cant run it ? should i uninstall fs and reinstall it wont it install with the update? this is crazy !!! i want to fly!!!!!

I would not uninstall unless ALL other options have been tried. I had to go that route after the last update, is not fun.

 

Have you tried logging out, doing a reboot, logging back in and see if you can hopefully force the update?

yes i have logged out and rebooted the computer a few times..

 

also i have went back to the store like 20 times i did install the xbox and everything is up to date ....

H!, Uninstalling and reinstalling is a hard job I had to do this. Some one suggested that when you

get the update available, click ok and in ms store find the simulator icon and just click on the standard

version of sim-click thumbnail picture. if you do't find flightsim then just type flight in the search box

hope you don't need to go the hard way
