ColR1948
I did a fictional on the TU-114, converted it for cargo use in Malev livery. I have a problem if anyone can help, I struggled getting the props to show properly, I got black circles or strange oval spinners, this is the best I could get so far. I did try using the props from the A400 as they are double props like the 114, they were not too bad but similar to these I have now. This is FS2004 by the way so any others might not work. Also in the aircraft.cfg the engine type=1 (jet) is that making a difference why props not showing properly? It's route for now is Budapest (LHBP) - Dusseldorf (EDDL) - Manchester (EGCC). Col. ColR1948
I know when using some FS9 aircraft in FSX we get the black props but this is a FS9 aircraft and I'm using it in FS9, I remember doing something with the alpha channels I'm wondering if that is the cause? Rupert
Funnily enough I enjoyed the shots so much I really didn't notice prop color. If what you're posting keeps looking this good, what's the worry? Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
ColR1948
Hi Michael, Thanks mate, I have found another prop texture that is slightly better still, not perfect though. I am at the moment playing with an AI version of a TU-144, this one is a proper turbo prop engine and noticeably a lot slower than the version shown as that has been configured as a jet. Col. NMLW
I like the Malev livery hopefully you will find some props that work. :) I don't have any experience wit TU-114s. Larry
