Odd happenings with flight plans and AIFP3

I asked this previously but never got a solution, so I thought I’d try it again.

Here is example of my AI aircraft in one traffic file, using AIFP3. There didn’t seem to be a problem initially but a few weeks ago I noticed that although it had been compiled correctly and the aircraft installed correctly, too, there was suddenly one showing in red, as in 1011 below. Strangely, it didn’t show up in the flight plan as being unavailable.

AC#1008,485,"WoA_DJC_A320-200_CFM_IBE-Iberia"

AC#1009,485,"WoA_DJC_A321_CFM_IBE-Iberia"

AC#1010,485,"WoA_DJC_A321_CFM_IBE-Iberia_JZM"

AC#1011,485,"WoA_TFS_A340-300_Iberia"

AC#8770,600,"Boeing 747-267B Iberia TF-ABA"

AC#8771,605,"Boeing 747-267B Iberia TF-ABP"

AC#8772,485,"FlightFX 727-200 Iberia EC-CID"

So I made it unavailable:

//AC#1011,485,"WoA_TFS_A340-300_Iberia",

I then reopened the bgl text file and got this:

AC#1008,485,"WoA_DJC_A320-200_CFM_IBE-Iberia"

AC#1009,485,"WoA_DJC_A321_CFM_IBE-Iberia"

AC#1010,485,"WoA_DJC_A321_CFM_IBE-Iberia_JZM"

//AC#1011,485,"WoA_TFS_A340-300_Iberia"

AC#8770,600,"Boeing 747-267B Iberia TF-ABA"

AC#8771,605,"Boeing 747-267B Iberia TF-ABP"

AC#8772,485,"FlightFX 727-200 Iberia EC-CID"

So I did this:

//AC#1010,485,"WoA_DJC_A321_CFM_IBE-Iberia_JZM"

//AC#1011,485,"WoA_TFS_A340-300_Iberia"

The result was:

AC#1008,485,"WoA_DJC_A320-200_CFM_IBE-Iberia"

AC#1009,485,"WoA_DJC_A321_CFM_IBE-Iberia"

//AC#1010,485,"WoA_DJC_A321_CFM_IBE-Iberia_JZM"

//AC#1011,485,"WoA_TFS_A340-300_Iberia"

AC#8770,600,"Boeing 747-267B Iberia TF-ABA"

AC#8771,605,"Boeing 747-267B Iberia TF-ABP"

AC#8772,485,"FlightFX 727-200 Iberia EC-CID"

And so on, no matter how many times I check out the aircraft.

Now it hasn’t, I believe, anything to do with the fact these are WOA aircraft because the same thing happened with FAIB aircraft and others.

Why is this happening? Any ideas? It’s an odd one.

It's been a while since I used AIFP3, and when I use it's with flightplans from Alpha India.

Just to say I'm not familiar with using // to remark out certain lines in the text source files.

I don't know if it's even a valid option and honestly, I don't care.

To make a long story short:

if the above were MY flightplans, I'd stop philosophizing about it, just DELETE the offending line and continue working.

Hi.

Not sure what you mean by remove the offending line.

Do you mean from the flight plan? That isn't where the problem lies because AIFP3 doesn't flag it up as a faulty flight plan entry.

Or do you mean from the aircraft file? That won't change things because removing the aircraft would have the same effect as using //. and the list would just move up to the next aircraft as shown in my post.

Cllearly, no-one has any further suggestions for this problem. I've tried to cintact FSDevelopers.com, who, it seems are the source of AIFP3 but I need to register before I can post in the forum. I've tried to register but for the last 3 days it's said that my registration is pending.

Does anyone know how to get help with AIFP3?

Thank you,

Allan
