But more immediately (and buried in this story), we may get a true seaplane as early as July 5! :cool: Now, if they would only update British Columbia... So sometime later this month, we'll get a plane with actual pontoons--and maybe pontoons with little wheels? I agree the stock Icon 5 (even if fitted with a sleek sportscar dashboard) is a bizarre contraption, but there are already available wonderful seaplanes, such as the freeware Grumman Goose and Cessna 172 amphib (to name just a couple). I would be more than happy if they add wake effects on water, waves not requiring hurricane wind, and a more realistic behaviour when sitting on water: currently, it feels as if your aircraft was solid-rock motionless while waves roll up & down your pontoons/fuselage.
