I was updating MSFS last week and had to pause the download. Once I did I closed it down. Now a week later it won't open at all. Doesn't even show up in Task Manager Apps when I click on it. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you press the Windows key & start typing “Flight...” does it appear? If so, try the “repair” option.

Thank you Steve. I tried repair but it still does the same thing. I appears to be loaded, but when I click it on the start menu nothing happens. No screen or crash or anything. It is like it is not there. Don't even see it trying to run in task manager. If I try to start it through the store interface - same thing. I'm confused. . . .

Did you get the sim from the MS Store?

Maybe you could try launching the store.. see if it will update the sim from there.. and maybe try to run it from the store.

Worth a try

Try logging out of your Microsoft account and your Xbox account, reboot your PC and log back in again to Microsoft and Xbox. Next, check the MS Store for any updates before attempting to launch the sim.
