New PC for X-Plane

HI, Thinking of upgrading to X-Plane from FSX. Will not go to MSFS until maybe they get it figured out for multiple Monitors. Will need new PC as I downloaded the X-Plan trial and my current moaned.lol. Looking at a prebuilt that wont break the piggy bank. Anyone got a model, place to buy suggestions ?

Thanks !

FSX. As of now I have 3 laptops all utilizing & linked to FSX, 1 - 32" TV for Gages, 40" TV for Main View. Saitek Pro Flight Control System. Am building a new rig and flight deck. Most likely going to X-Plane 11 for Sim. Also might buy MFS2020 for the pretty Pictures.

779 Views 0 Ideas.lol.... I know its a tuff question as there are SO many variations !

I have taken the required specs from X Plane 11 and MSFS and imputed them into https://pcpartpicker.com/

Also have surfed multiple site including Best buy and found this cat. CyberPowerPC - Gamer Master Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 5 3600 - 16GB Memory - AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT - 1TB HDD + 500GB SSD or 949.00 US

Was on a 1K budget but Momma says I can up the anti.lol to 1500 ish.

Also going after Logitech Switch, Multi and 2 Radio Panels. Just dont have the time to build controls right now !

Still if anyone has bought or built a new one with any suggestions or a good reputable place to buy parts or pre build's I appreciate it !

Hi,

I didn't go the AMD route myself and I'm upgrading four this week. I went Intel 10900k, a Gigabyte z490 Aorus master motherboard, 32GB/3600 ram by G-Skill and a CPU cooler... The rest I am taking from the old computer to save some cash.

Intel10900K CPU $425.00

Gigabyte M/B $400.00

32GB GSkill ram @ 3600 cl16 $229.00

Ice Giant CPU cooler: $180.00

1TB NVME storage $200.00

Under $1,500

Im not the most savvy PC hardware guru out there. With that, lack of time and the current GPU shortage Im going Pre Built.

Looking at this one. What ya think ?

iBuyPower, Slate MR Gaming Desktop - Intel i7-11700F - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6GB - 480GB SSD + 1TB HDD

My plan is to get something like this one. Still build in a year or so when the GPU shortage is over. Will then use this one to run some side programs, Display etc.

Thanks !!!!!

That I7-11700F is only running at 2.5GHtz. Also, I would at least look for a GTX 1660ti. I think you could find a better choice at some place like this for about the same dollars, and get a better power supply and build quality.
