fsx / addon airfield removal- from fsx map...

hello all. very old member, not posted much over the years-but today am flummoxed, been playing with fsx, trying to match a 2020 grass strip airfield which is not designated in fsx- however the little beast does readily show on the mapping of gmax maps. and will connect with fsx. so have been occupied , settled in a compass bearing which does the job- used ade to build new runway in fsx . , did this several times, not being too clever . now i find in the fsx map all the fields i placed-even though all have been removed from the library and fsx itself.. so question is sirs, how to remove airport / town names from the fsx map.. without a reinstall ?? It wuld of course not be a problem if simply left, but just a reminder of my incompetence!

ade when left to Save with its default setting will Save created compiled airports in:

../Addon Scenery/scenery

 

That folder is listed in the library as:

"Addon Scenery"

(somewhere near bottom of list)

 

Either remove the airport .bgl files from that folder ../Addon Scenery/scenery.

 

Or disable "Addon Scenery"

in the list to test.

(Don't keep "Addon Scenery" as disabled. There may be usefull stuff in there as well.)

Thank you sir, but, i always insure i delete the adex from addon scenery / scenery along with the full addon airport plus deleting from the actual library line up..Just cannot find the airport as named anywhere in fsx or ade or documents but they still show up in the fsx map..they do not seem to be cached anywhere either.. must be somewhere hidden away ?plus in the library listings i do not have a addon scenery ,i call it up from the view menu icon.
