nbata1234
Good afternoon, I downloaded instant object studio and created objects in the sim, however when I try to add them on instant scenery a message appears saying object cannot be placed outside of a certain area. Aid there a way to create objects in fs9 that can be added in any area in the sim? Thanks
tgibson_new
This occurs because there is placement information in the same BGL file that contains the object models. Is there a way to *not* add placement information when creating the files using Instant Object Creator? If not, you have two choices. 1. Decompile the BGL file using a program like BGLXML or BGL2XML, edit out the placement section, and recompile the file using BGLComp from the FS9 SDK. 2. Use the tool GeoLock to unlock the file. http://stuff4fs.com/newpage.asp?Folder=Geolock Hope this helps, Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.com
nbata1234
Thanks Tom I’ll see if there’s a option on the instant object studio or I’ll try the bgl file. Thanks again
