1:Run setup.exe

2: Choose the address for the SSD

3: install the relevant copy of P3D on that

4: Manually alter the address for REX.

Simple!

Install P3D in its place first. Run it and fly a short flight, exit it. Then install the add-ons in the places you want them to go, and they should now find P3D through the registry.

But remember one thing: when you install add-ons, install them one by one and test for functionality after installing each one. Then, if you have problems, you know which add-on caused it.

Hi thank you . the sim works great! I have active sky next which is my first hurdle. So when installing activesky directs me to locate prepar3d application data which i've done to no avail. I'm not sure if i have to load everything on the drive with my OS. Or if there is a program i saw called Shell or something that provides a link or shortcut between my HDD and SSD or if everything including OS should be on the SSD. At this point i'm reaching out to everyone for help before i do a fresh reload of windows and start all over which would really hurt my moral.
