amberdog1 Posted November 22, 2020 Share Posted November 22, 2020 When I fly out of KORF (my home airport) the normal active runway is 05. But in MSFS it always sets me to runway 23. I can go to general aviation parking, any gate and it always directs me to runway 23. I fly using real weather and live traffic. Any ideas will be appreciated. gxm149 Posted November 23, 2020 Share Posted November 23, 2020 I believe that unless you specify what runway you want to use, MSFS 2020 simply determines the active runway using the wind direction so that you are taking of into the wind regardless of what is being used by the actual airport in the real world.
