How to move MSFS to new location...

1. Download Flight Simulator to its default location. The initial size file is now1.32 GB.

 

2. Go to Windows Settings / Apps and find the Flight Simulator "app"

 

3. Click on it and select Move

 

4. Point to your new location and execute.

 

The App will be moved to its new location.

Yes, it's simple to do. But you will find that not all the files are transferred and it's not just simply a copy of the whole programme. So it can be a bit of a pain if you're looking for a certain file.

 

If you want the programme on a separate drive I believe it's best to download it there in the first place, don't just simply accept the default.

 

Wish I had but I'm not going to delete and start again now that I've got it running okay!
