Oh! It's like that is it? The temperature gets a little colder and you head south like the geese.

Well it was nice having you here while it lasted. See you next spring. :) Nice shots. -- Bob

Those look nice David. I've never gotten my head around tube liners and such. You can't see much from 35,000' and I love to look around! As a chopper guy, getting much over 1,000' AGL tends to make me bored.

Having said that, while in the Corps a buddy of mine, also a chopper guy, did have a V-35 Bonanza and on trips to and from Northern California we'd fly above 10K for the speed and reduced fuel burn. Though neither of us were ever happy about it for any other reason.

BTW: If you "stay south" you'll need good weather alerts. They seem to have more storms, hurricanes, etc. per year than ever recorded before.

I'd recommend So Cal or wherever except they're having that same increase in fires!!:eek:

Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.

A coworker of mine retired and moved to Utah last year. Regardless of the weather, I’m retiring to Florida. I just love it there.

If I want to check out scenery I will hop on a prop and check things out. The thing with tubeliners is the takeoff scenery the approach and landing I enjoy. :)

I like the Southwest livery on the 737 David. A good flight and nicely captured. :pilot:
