danacan211
I just released an addon that uses a web service and a Chrome extension to create a live position icon on the map: Get it here: https://github.com/MoMadenU/msfs2020-skyvector See it in action here:
g7rta
Thanks for sharing. It looks good. Can you display the map on a separate device (iPad) or does it have to be on the computer screen? danacan211
So I'm assuming the iPad is just another device on your personal LAN? I need to add to the ability to specify hostname as well as port. That way you can change it to the IP of your sim's machine and not localhost. I'll put that in the next version. loki
Thanks for sharing. It looks good. Can you display the map on a separate device (iPad) or does it have to be on the computer screen? Regards Steve Looks like it requires running a local web service that connects to the sim as well as a Chrome browser extension, neither of which would run directly on an iPad. There are programs such Duet Display that allow you to use iPads as external displays though.
danacan211
Yup unfortunately loki is correct. The game runs on the PC and so does the web service. The extension however will not run on the iPad.
