FOD on Runway (KCLE 24L/R)

Recommended Posts

For the second time I've executed a wonderful landing only to hit an object on the runway and cause damage to the aircraft ending my flight. Best I can describe the objects are fissures in the ground as if caused by an earthquake. If I'm in a slower aircraft they vanish as I get close but I had no chance in the TBM. Anyone else experience this?

Funny enough, that happened to me taking off from JFK earlier. I’d veered slightly on the runway so wasn’t on the centreline and collided with ‘something’.

I fly into KCLE 24R quite often and I have not experienced this? Could it be a hardware issue? What is your system specs and what control devices are you using?

I've experienced it on both 24L and 24R. Specs are in my signature, I use a Saitek X56.

I don't have the Saitek, but I seem to remember a number of folks have had problems getting it to work right with FS2020? Also, If you have a slow internet connection, it could be some anomaly is resulting from downloading scenery?

Is the area prone to earthquakes? :)

Seriously though that looks pretty bad & needs reporting to Zendesk.
