Thread: DC3 turboprop

    Default DC3 turboprop

Anybody willing to slightly modify an AI standard engine DC3 to a turboprop version? Only the front of the engine pods needs to be modified; none of the engine controls or performance to be touched. rogwen at rogers.com

I actually asked John Young (from MAIW) if he would consider doing the BT-67 version since he did standard DC3/C47 AI models before and would have the source codes to work off of. I did not get a no answer but also not a yes. So maybe some day. Just not a ton of them so maybe not that appealing to do.

No, more than that needs be done. Please research the turboprop and compare it to the DC-3....

I recall looking for a Basler ages ago, and found just the opposite of what you seek - a panel and physics mod for the old MAAM DC-3 so you could fly a turboprop but visually it was still a stock DC-3.
