JSkorna
You don't need a special cooler just to run MSFS unless you are going to over clock your CPU. MSFS is less stressful on the CPU then past versions. http://www.air-source.us/images/sigs/000219_195_jimskorna.png
stempski
Yeowza! That's one huge cooler! Hope you have a big case. It'll block access to your RAM and I hope it has longish power cords on the fans. Performance-wise, it's rated in the middle of the pack according to a 2018 Tweaktown review: https://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/8842/quiet-dark-rock-pro-4-cpu-cooler-review/index.html But, the trade-off is it's very very quiet. Installation looks... ummm...challenging for a first timer. But if you've installed CPU coolers before, it's no more difficult than the rest. The price is nice for a 2 fan cooler. If you don't plan on overclocking too much, it should be more than enough. Remember, when it comes to thermal paste, too much actually heats your CPU, so less is better. :) I expect awesome screen shots soon. Which motherboard did you go with? Asus Z590 P, Intel I7-10700K, nVidia RTX 4070, 64gb ram(3200), 2 nvme ssd (2 tb total), Samsung QN90B 43" 4k@120hz, Bose Companion 5 PC speakers, Velocity Flight One
