Northeast bound out of SAOU. I am certainly glad she got a fresh tune-up last week. She cleared with 10-12 feet to spare!

Thank You! I probably should have made a loup around the airport before heading out on the flight plan. I still have not figured out how to edit the flight plan in FS2020 yet. Lots to learn at this point!

Thanks guys! At least this way you only have a pile of pixels spread across the ground, not shards of carbon fiber and sheetmetal!

I agree!! Sims also have a much more reasonable Hobbs Hour rate!!;)

 

BTW: Just curious, did you notice your speed and rate of climb about then? I'm always curious as to the accuracy of various flight models in sims.

I did not, but it didn't seem to do anything unusual in order to make the ascent. That is the lower performance version of the DA-40 with the 135 HP diesel. That version isn't licensed in U.S.
