"VIDEO CART= Dual NVidia RTX 2080 Ti or RTX 3080 GPU"

With two power hungry cards, an 800 watt PSU will not be enough. You probably need at least 1,000 and maybe 1,200 watts?

"CPU= 10th Generation Intel Core i9-10900F processor"

The program can only use 4 cores and will really only work two for most of computation. You might be better off with the i9--10850K

Even at 4K, you are not going to use 64GB of ram. Go with 64GB and get the best PSU and cooling you can add instead.

I7-9700K, RTX-2070, Asus Strix Z-390-H MB, 32gb G Skill 3000 CL15, Corsair Obsidian 750D case, WD Black 1tb M.2, Crucial CT500MX SSD, Seasonic Prime 750W Titanium PSU

I would consider the unlocked i9-10850K which has dropped in price to around $450 on Newegg.com It has a higher clock speed than the 10900F which is $539. The clock speed is 3.6 in the 850 and 3.7 in the 900 but the 850 will boost to close to 5. It's cheaper and runs faster. What's not to like.

I saw a review that bench-marked MSFS as not exceeding 16 K ram even in 4K although I watch so much of that stuff I can't give you the link. You can search YouTube for How Much Ram Do You Need and eventually find it. There are those who believe that 32 gig is prudent but if they can't push it past 16 then the extra is just sitting there. I think you mean an SSD at 150 GB not an SATA HD. To my way of thinking the cost per byte goes up as the drive gets smaller and the difference in price between a 150 and a 500 is so small I'd convert some RAM into a larger SSD. As far as that goes you could pretty much get an 1 TB M.2 internal drive and a 500 GB SSD for about the same price. SSDs are often show up on the deal of the day type boards if you are into checking those. 3080s are practically nonexistent and probably won't be readily available until Spring. The problems is that the shortage is causing the price to remain high. I think I agree with plainsman for the most part. An 800 watt PS should work but they get the less the PS is loaded the more effect it is and the cooler it will run. A larger supply will pay for itself in power saving. The 10850 only uses 95 watts btw and a 3080 at 320. NVIDIA recommends 750 watts minimum.

Liquid cooled, Intel i7-10700K, NVIDIA 3070, G.Skill Ram 32 GB, 2TB M.2 NVME. Z490 MB Loads of Christmas lights. :pilot:
