Dont know if this helps as everyone has different things on/in their computer that will influence the end result.

I have a i9 9900, 2080 ti 16g with 64 gigs of ddr4 ram. I have everything set to ultra and typically get 30-40 FPS in any given location. Havent done NYC yet but explored chicago enough to feel confident that it would be similar.

No worries LOL

Still, it’s good to know you’re getting some reasonable frame rates at every location. I’m upgrading my CPU at the weekend (hopefully) so these things are always interesting

Steve,

I paid a guy to build my PC. Seemed to be a pretty reasonable cost for what I was looking for. Give me a second and Ill dig up my actual specs before i upgraded the DDR. Maybe it may be helpful to you. His service was solid and he was attentive.

Steve,

This is what I went with. So far everything runs pretty smoothly and dont have any complaints. All setting to ultra. Turned V sync off.

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra

CPU: Intel Core i9 9900K 8-Cores/16 Threads Unlocked Processor

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master 240mmmm AIO RGB Liquid Cooler

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11GB Gaming Card

Power Supply: Thermaltake 750 Watts 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply

RAM: G.Skill Trident Z 32GB (16 x 2) 3200MHz RGB DDR4 Memory

SSD: Intel 660p 2TB NVME Solid State Drive

Case: DarkFlash Phantom Tempered Glass Full Tower Premium Case

Fans: 8 x High performance low noise RGB cooling case fans

600 Mbps Dual Band Wireless

Total with shipping was 2899. Paid on PayPal. No tax.

I later updated the DDR 4 to 64 gigs.

If anyone wants the guys info feel free to shoot me a message. So far no issues with build. Had my IT guy at work check it out and he ok'd it, liked the build.

No need, but thanks anyway.

I actually bought 64gb DDR4 ram a couple of week ago, with the intention of putting it in my current pc. I then had an idea... I ordered a new motherboard & an i9-10300 already fitted in a new case, plus a 1000w PSU for when I eventually upgrade the GPU (maybe next year)

I’ve been checking online for an order update every two minutes LOL

It’s due Saturday hopefully

Thanks anyway
