Well salt_air, you little rascal! Thought you might sneak this one by me! I had better have a close look at my calendar and see if I can work this in.

Howdy bud!
Whew ... man the dust has piled up here right? .... gotta knock down some of these cobwebs too
Yeah let's do this .... I'll start a new thread in a day or two for any that would like to participate .... always fun!
I don't see any provisions for fs9, I'll try to come up with a workaround if there's any interest.
This is officially a DC-3 Airway's event, but it's one that we here at Flight Sim's Multiplayer Forum have enjoyed for many years.
The World Rally (not a race BTW) has run for twenty years now thanks to the team at DC-3 Airways
Catch ya soon!

Right!,
So "Out of the blue of the Western skies comes .... "
Nope ... not Sky King, but Doug (350BC_Doug) and Dave (sandman)!
Wow haven't heard from these guys in a while !!
The three of us have been talking seriously about getting into this year's World Rally at DC-3 Airways for old times sake.
The past World Rallies (this will make the twentieth) historically have been around ten flights of a couple hours or less each.
It's an event that we, as a group here at FlightSim (The Good Times Gang), have enjoyed many times in the past.
Wonder how many will respond here with an interest to participate?
This is NOT the grinding 24/7 real wx of the past RTW's, but a leisurely schedule of numbered, timed flights that include a very generous time frame in which to complete.
Parameters are set for precise routing between waypoints, cruise speeds, rates of climb and descent, and we are scored by how close we can get to them in our actual flights.
Turn in you PIREPS for each flight and see how you fared as the event progresses through the remainder of the flights ... DC-3 Airways keeps track and posts to their pilot list or scoreboard if you will.
Just some third grade math will let you come up with a total flight time of only 20 hours (est) .... and a you have a month to complete.
If you hadn't guessed already, the event is flown in DC-3/C-47 aircraft only.
Register at : http://dc3airways.net/wr/ and post back to this thread with your name and pilot number.
There are so many Flight Simulators available now ... we don't have a MP server anymore ... so we may just fly offline and share the same voice program together ... suggestions welcome.
Cheers!,

Right!,
So it looks like MP flight sessions will be held using JoinFS (freeware) .... first time for me.
Program allows for connection of FSX, P3D, and X-Plane.
Then to keep things simple for communication will be on skype.
Easy breezy,
