Little Navmap and fs2020?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone got Little Navmap to successfully connect with fs2020 and if so what is the secret. I'm struggling with setting up the correct paths and don't even know if I am wasting my time anyway. The default VR map is very poor in comparison. Any help much appreciated.

I use Little Navmap and Little Navconnect with MSFS. Little Navmap is on a remote computer and Little Navconnect on the flight sim computer.

Has been working since I first installed the new sim. I did not have to make any changes.

I am on version 2.4.5. Are you trying to use it remote, or on the same computer?

I am on 2.4.5 also. Using the same computer with LNM on a second screen. Also had some trouble with finding the correct path to connect with MSFS?

For the path to connect, I am still using FSX or Prepar3d. Seem to work OK.

I'm baffled by the LNM Load Scenery Library screen. On this screen it has 3 things to fill in.

1 simulator - mine only shows Xplane11 !?

2 Flight Simulator Base path - mine is c: users/my name/documents/little navmap - presumably this it correct?

3 Scenery Configuration File - where is this located?

I have it working too, very good. Only problem is how do you get the ICAO/etc data into Little Navmap, there isn't an option (yet) to choose FS2020. And if you are flying New Guinea, most of the little airports are not in the P3D or old FSX databases.

Looks very good indeed, and unlike others, it doesn't require to previously install bizarre things such as .NET Framework and such, but unfortunately only includes VFR charts for the US.

I have subscribed to Navigraph which updates both little Navmap and (through a beta updater) MSFS2020 to the current AIRAC database.
