Returning to Flight Simming after many years

Hi all,

 

I'm coming back to simming after about 14 years off! I've just bought a Cessna 340 forward fuselage to use as my new sim. I used to own a fully converted Beechcraft Queenair that had a full panel of Simkits instruments and my own modified elite avionics stack as well as all the original controls interfaced and a Projector for the external view. Then I had a Fokker F27 and an AV8B, but somehow I lost interest. Now I'm playing catch up on all the changes in tech etc in all those years.

14 years?! Welcome back! Yes, much has changed but much has stayed the same. I take it you're looking forward to FS2020 as most of us are. Only two weeks to go!! If you need any tech advice just post below. I'm a pretty big nerd and wouldn't mind bringing you back up to speed.
