Flying near and over Detroit

Recommended Posts

I never lived as far north as Detroit. But working in the automobile business, I spent considerable time in that area. Our corporate offices, various suppliers, venders, etc. were scattered all over the lower part of Michigan.

Being happily retired, I had the time to take a look around with my sim. And I didn't have to attend a single meeting!!!;):D

Very nice shots Michael! :) Don't see to much from that area. :)

Frankly the Rust Belt of any country isn't terribly interesting or usually terribly attractive from the air! So I don't suppose the scenery people put too much effort into them. However Detroit is covered better than some. I even found Commercia Field, the new home of the Tigers. I took a screenie of it but somehow must have deleted it. I may back and re-shoot it, I thought it looked pretty good.

And as always, thanks to everyone who looks and especially those who comment on my attempts! ;)
