Alternative to Instant Scenery ?

I've had Vista with FS2004 running for 10yrs along with Instant Scenery (now v3) for almost as long. I've had to have the hard drive replaced & have new Vista & FS2004 both of which are running smoothly as always..

My problem is getting Instant Scenery to work.

 

Flight1 are being less than helpful & blame Vista so I wonder if there's an alternative to IS3 I could use?

The only alternative I know of that gives you placement right in the sim is EZ-Scenery by Abacus, which is still available (I think) but no longer supported. Other programs like ADE can place the objects, but not from within the sim.

My W7 had FS2004 suddenly stopped this AM (hence Vista in use) & nothing will get it going again, but I found your forum postings so am involved with that for now.
