Rupert
I just read an article about flying to 42B (Good-speed Airport) in East Haddam Connecticut. It's a small airport on the riverbank. And walking distance to a historic Opera House. So I thought I'd fly there from Boston's Logan, with a stop for lunch at KAVD along the way. As you can see, Boston had some huge low hanging clouds but was still posting Modified VFR approaches. So took off, did a T&G, then headed out to KAVD. More shots coming up after lunch. ;) Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
Rupert
After lunch the sky had cleared nicely. Just a little scud floating around. So we'll continue to 42B Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.

Rupert
And just FYI. It's spelled Goodspeed Airport according to Google. The article in AOPA shows it spelled both ways. Having said that, the charts say Goodspeed. I apologize for such a gross error!! :p Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.

CRJ_simpilot
My intention wasn't a "beat down" but just an FYI as was written. Teach a man to fish... But I guess it is in fact written both ways. av8tor98
Nice pics Michael! I have spent a considerable amount of time in the C208 over Mass. and Ct. I recall seeing a mansion in Ct. that was once owned by the former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson. Over flew the mansion after departing Bradley for Bridgeport. Man, that mansion is HUGE.
