Like lakes and Alps? A few shots over Switzerland using ORBX

Recommended Posts

The last couple of days I've enjoyed flying in the Alps of Switzerland. Here a few shots from yesterday. I really could have used a lot more engine power on some of the climb outs!

And yes, a higher date limit as well. This scenery is very very dense!

You all stop flying over where I spent my holidays touring when a child! :):):)

Actually I have also spent many a happy day there as well! While on subcontract for BMW in Munich and Dingolfing I was hosted by BMW people on several ski trips into Austria and Switzerland. Even into Northern Italy. The Alps are beautiful!!

Yeah! Switzerland is a fine country, with hospitable people. With my parents, mostly visited there by summer, or weekends. From Burgundy, that's just a hop away

Nice - from Interlaken to Emmen while flying over Meiringen, Sarnen and Lucerne.

Good for you!! I'd have had problems explaining this flight as well as you did!!

Frankly by far the biggest high point of my time spent working with BMW was the chance to experience and understand the whole Alps experience!

Here we have mountains that are taller, and other places are taller yet. But the family feel of people in the lodges, restaurants, etc. all over the Alps in various countries is something I've never experienced anywhere else!

Thanks so much for your submission!
