sharpsharp
Saw on a recent 'pilots eye' video, airbus descending, using a visual approach, into airport where the captain asked the co pilot to switch off the flight director. Wondered if anyone had any thoughts on whether this is a standard procedure in these circumstances. Soz if this question has been asked before. G. pzl 104
Wrong forum, but yes, this is a normal procedure. If you are using the FD you follow it exactly. If you don't, you switch it off instead of disregarding its commands.
