gippslandblanik1
Recently a very annoying buzzing noise has started occurring when flying in FSX-SE every time I hit the Pause Key or make a selection from the drop down menu in "Flights" or "Aircraft" or "World" or "Options" etc. It sounds like feed back in a PA speaker system. Thanks in advance for any help. Max HP he-1360t W7 SP1 i7-3770 CPU @ 3.4GHz 10.0 GB RAM 64-bit
jorgen.s.andersen
Is this a laptop with integrated speakers, or are the speakers external speakers, and if so, approximately how long are the speaker cords? Jorgen
napamule2
It's bad SHIELDING of speaker wires (that are inside case). You will get static from Hard Drive operations (when it's loading data/working). Getting a USB sound amp card would solve your problem. Only way, unless you want to install a sound card, but that costs more. It's a HP desk top. And it's a 'h8' not 'he'. gippslandblanik1
Thank you Jorgen and Chuck for the prompt response. Sorry about the "h8" typo. I have just now ordered an USB External Sound Card, (never heard of such a thing before) that will hopefully stop the buzz! Best wishes, Max
DominicS
Something else to check, would be to see if applying VSync to your GPU settings makes any difference. https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/728853-gpu-noise-and-crazy-high-fps/
