Descent and landing.

No apron, hangers! Just a tower. Guess we are getting our shoes dirty :D

Daring hop! Checked that the orbx at Ushuaia, yielding that same airport in water like I have with it :)

I did notice that "water airport" is a bit elevated by the water also. Just a bit of an elevation problem when Orbx redesigned things a bit. :rolleyes:

I love the cloud formations is the first series!! And yes from time to time I've found elevation issues in a lot of scenery. I recently landed at an airport where all the AI aircraft had landing struts but no sign of any wheels.

They made you park in the grass in the Falklands? That's the problem with the smaller airports, no Infrastructure. A good Leg 7, I like the shots from the passenger cabin. :cool: :cool: :)

Thanks Larry. I was told to contact ground. The only option was Taxi for Takeoff Options :rolleyes: No tarmac anywhere! So, I just parked it in front of the tower. Yes! Finally figured how to get the window blinds up. The default is down. I always have problems figuring out Shift E + whatever... :cool:

I have some great freeware Falklands scenery, but every time I fly there with real weather it's terrible! Low visibility, storms, rain, snow, you name it! :eek::eek:

What is the freeware scenery you use? Like another ORBX user I was totally disappointed with the way it was depicted by them! For an area which has been so much in the news the last 40-50 years I'd think the Falklands deserved more coverage than two airports with empty runways, no hangers, etc. And yes, Ill make my thoughts known to ORBX. If we don't give our vendors feedback, they don't know when we're unhappy!;)
