CLS 747-200/300 problems - landing gear is invisible and no VC

After buying the CLS 747-200/300 HD/FSX from SimShack, the installer not working, a customer support email and a new installer and activation code, now there's a new set of problems. There isn't a virtual cockpit (despite the panel.cfg clearly having gauges listed for it), and the landing gear sitting on the runway has the doors open, but the landing gear itself is invisible. (I can't raise the landing gear with the plane on the ground either.) For what it's worth, all the aircraft folders have names such as CLS_747_200_v15_Lite, for example, so I don't know if only no VC versions got installed, but that wouldn't explain the landing gear. A fix on my end, reply to the last support email, new support ticket, or just buy it again from somewhere else more mainstream who would already have the latest and correct version? (sold under Just Flight?)

Thanks.

Did you run the install .exe as Administrator? If not, some features such as the VC may not have been installed. The landing gear is .xml coded and if the .xml and/or the .ini file is missing, the landing gear will be too.

Tried that, no luck. When I installed the rfp 747 some presumably default stuff got overwritten and my Captain Sim L-1011 VC windows turned solid gray, and IIRC had a similar landing gear problem, so I reinstalled it and the problems went away. Could it be a case of the rfp 747 having overwritten something important, or is it simply a "contact customer support" problem?

The RFP (Ready For Pushback) 747 was an FS2004 plane and some of the gauges don't work in FSX, even in the "converted to FSX" version. If you uninstall it completely, especially the gauges, the CLS 747 will work for you.

Uninstalled the rfp 747, didn't work. I've been using old browsers so the "new" installer customer support gave me so I've been getting off the "alternate" google drive link; turns out they no longer host the file that customer support sent me the downlink for on their own website! Or to put it another way, they send me a new installer that also doesn't work, and they no longer even host. By Customer Support after the installer I first bought at SimShack didn't work. So should I send a (not too happy) reply to customer support asking for the actually correct installer, not the one they sent that also doesn't work, or should I just buy whatever the current version actually is again from JustFlight's own website, and write it off as a loss?

Just Flight don't make the CLS 747, they only supply it like Simshack does. You need to contact CLS support, give them your Simshack order number and explain your installer issue.
