firstenburg
Can someone sanity check me, try a departure in a C172 from KIDA runway 20, and let me know if you experience a sudden jump in vertical speed about halfway down the runway. Like, you'll be climbing at a normal 5-700 fpm, then suddenly your VSI needle will wind all the way over and bury itself at 2000+ fpm.
therabbit0
I tried it nothing like that happened on my end. What kind of weather did you have setup?
pzl 104
Don't have FSX installed anymore but the only thing that comes to my mind are thermals. With the default weather and with Disable turbulence and thermal effects on aircraft unchecked, this seems to be plausible. For testing simply check the disable turbulence box and try again departing from KIDA. E.g. I always used KBLI as default airport because on very short final 34 there's a nice turbulence and thermal burble which destabilizes the approach.
