real time weather question

hello, hoping you all can shed some light. flightsim 2004 my program is pulling the same weather every time I create a flight. can not use up to date weather it will say error please check your connection to the internet. if you use static weather it pulls real weather but will not up date while flying. its raining in Cleveland every day. my thought is, maybe when the Fed government was shut down the weather went with it? any help is appreciated.

The online weather has been off and on for a long while now, it is more off than on.

Sometimes you get lucky and it connects, your best bet is to use a payware weather program or set the sim weather to suit your preference.
