Morton air Services flight MT1 is a De Havilland DH-104 Dove flying from London Gatwick to Rotterdam, (EGKK - EHRD). We have 100 gallons of fuel on board for the 178 nm flight. Moderate cloud cover is expected for the entire flight. We will be cruising at an altitude of 3,000 feet.

11. With ships below we turn toward the Dutch coast and Rotterdam.

12. About 15 nm from the coast we see more ships sailing to and from the Port of Rotterdam.

13. We make landfall near the small Dutch town of Stuifakker.

Whoa, this post brings back lots of memories Larry. :cool::cool::cool: I was born in Rotterdam and visited the airport at least 4 times a week. I remember this Morton Dove very well. They also had Herons and at least one beautiful DC-3. Thanks very much for this great post! :):)

That's a lovely Dove Larry and quite an eye-catching livery. I remember flying in Doves as a child, owned by the oil company my father used to work for. Nice photo essay and with typical support era-documents like leaflets etc. Great work Larry.
