Default Dutch Fokker D.XXIs by Early May 1940!

That one I knew from the time of my website about French Air Force during the Bataille de France in May-june 1940! One more to my WW2 collection
That's the Fokker D.XXI, the workhorse fighter to the Luchtvaartafdeeling, the Dutch Army Aviation Group (the Luchtvaartafdeeling was still not a independent air force by the time). Some Fokker D.XXIs are seen here on early May 10th, 1940, on a defense line airfield, as the northern part of German offensive is taking place!

A very nice display of the Dutch Fokker D.XXI Gerard. I like your series of posts featuring WWII aircraft.

Yes, they said that was the sole one, which could catch up with a Stuka on the dive!

    DAVIDSTRAKA :Thanks!
Macroburst : Thanks! Albeit the plane saw combat, I preferred to display those on ground!
