FSX Rain

Hi everyone!

I really have to fix an issue on my FSX SE: when I load a flight with a "big" plane, while is raining, once I switch back to my VC camera it freezes for 10 seconds and FSX is not responding. Is really annoying me.

it doesn't happen if is not raining, if I use a "small" size plane and neither if is snowing!

Drawing rain and clouds and how it changes the view of how all other objects look takes a lot of computing power. Result is lower fps.

Lower settings will get fps a bit higher again.

Just for the heck of it, try the rain fix here and see if that helps. It may be due to some code in FSX that is causing the VC to lag you out and this fix may work. http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library
