    Just guessing but I think if gauges are XML you'll be able to import them (just like P3D). DLLs won't work as the engine is rewritten with new variable locations. Wait and see.

    Even with the single point reference, the new sim will have much better wind affecting the old aircrafts.

    Hope so. The FSX product installers would have to think they are being installed into FSX. If Microsoft does not do it, perhaps a enterprising simmer would make a SDK compatible one to do it.

    I know a legacy FSX aircraft would not have the special effects such as icing etc., just want to be able to fly my fleet of RealAir, Carenado, etc.. Of course Carenado will sell new native models or update the existing ones to work with the new sim.
