    Yes, each country during WW2, had its team to study any enemy plane captured in state of flying! There likely was one or more 'German Spitifire,' etc.

    I'm still impressed by this model.. Looks also good with RAF colors. I have several captured planes in my hanger, like an "Italian" B-24.

    I like to see them scruffy, sometimes they don't look right all nice a shiny.
