    Post Help on CFG-file

    Hi team,

    I am new to FSX, but been using FS9 for years.

    I downloaded a complete aircraft from the library on this site, but it does not show up in FSX, and this is something I experience is almost 50% of my downloads.

    Can someone please check the below CFG-file?

    I have also included the folder names - see attachment "Folder".

    They show up fine! Found the download on another site. The FS2002 in the description has no bearing on them showing.

    Kenneth & Charlie - I have looked at this several times and what (and only what) finally stood out is the name of the Air File. In Kenneth's attachment he shows :

    A330-300-RR-Trent-772B.air

    I have the same download and my aircraft Air File name does not show the .air extension behind it. Try renaming the file without the .air and see what that might do?

    Don't rename the file.

    Downwind, your pc does not show the .air extension because you have Windows set to "hide extensions for known file types." (in "Folder Options".).

    One big change from FS9 to FSX is the location of aircraft. Mine are in D:\fsx\SimObjects\Airplanes, where in FS9 it would have been D:\fsx\Airplanes. If Mr. Zippy can't help then check out WHERE your downloaded aircraft are installed. This might be why you have trouble with other aircraft, too.

    If that's not your problem then I, too, am stumped.
