Johnny Boy the Pilot Posted October 23, 2019 Share Posted October 23, 2019 So it appears that FSX: Steam Edition has officially been transitioned into Microsoft's full control (no longer considered a DTG product in Steam), but it's now asking me to re-install FSX: Steam, even though I already have FSX: Steam installed. Does this mean I'll lose all the 3rd party freeware aircraft, repaints, scenery, gauges, textures, etc... I have in my FSX? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Johnny Boy the Pilot Posted October 24, 2019 Author Share Posted October 24, 2019 Turns out the re-install didn't overwrite my entire FSX installation; just the DLC from the Steam store (such as any repaints I had for those DLC aircraft; although I backed them up in case that happened).
