Khalid mentioned he was thinking about installing Manfred Jahn's freeware C-47.

Let's see if we can push him over the edge...

Here are some of my personal favorites from among my many paintjobs for this wonderful bird, feel free to add yours!

Thank you Jan, I'm definitely over the edge. I am going for this. What a lovely set of favourites, too.

Best wishes.

Khalid

To Mr. Zippy below, may I suggest we say: Jan's repaints rock!

All of Jan's repaints are top notch! Bet he could paint a rock and it would fly!;) Sorry...a little geologist joke!

We won't take it for granite. An even smaller geologist joke.

"Sedimentary, my dear Watson?"

"No schist, Sherlock!"

Now look what you started!

Update, downloaded the Manfred Jahn's C-47 (Version 3 Beta) and more than 100 repaints that I picked out of 300 or so available, including ALL of Jankees' work (60+). I am not exaggerating if I say this is one of the best freeware aircraft that I ever got. Truly amazing. Thanks for suggesting it.

Just don't expect any perfection from a geologist, we all have our faults..

You may know I actually am a geologist in real life, so this paint was a nice one for me:

The BMR even supported my first fieldwork in Australia, good memories..

Yep, even saw your smiling mugshot! Not bad, for a rock hound! Keep up the good work, and please...no more mentions of faults! I live in "Shaky City"!:D

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️

Jankees,

Thanks for reply. For colors, here is color photo version of Wien Air as seen on this link:

This is for your repainting reference should you decide to have fun to paint it:

Thank you for any consideration you might have for this request. I think this Wien Air livery is beautiful and best.

Aharon
