The Badlands - SouthDakota

Recommended Posts

The screen shots sure don't look like the brochure :D Either my scenery doesn't show the detail or I was in the wrong place!

Not that bad, considered the idea I have of that area :):)

And from I saw on a map, they speak about a Bad lands natural reserve, which likely is more bare than elsewhere in the area, maybe

You're right David, it doesn't look very Bad Landish. Depending on the direction of your approach there are some grassy and scrub areas before you get to the real thing. It would probably take a lot of work for the SW designer to more accurately develop the Bad Lands. :D

Looks great in real life, but looks in default FSX more or less alright. don't want to think about the costs of a PC that could handle VFR sceneries all over the world....:eek:

Yes, that would be some kind of computer!

I've been to the Bad Lands and they were in North Dakota. I don't know if they extend down to South Dakota or not. Theodore Roosevelt visited there. He loved North Dakota. I used to live there myself.
