A New Journey Begins....

Recommended Posts

Well, here we are...our very first ‘new’ Microsoft Flight Simulator forum.

This is where we want you to share all that you know, and all that you want to know about Microsoft’s new simulator!

These really are exciting times, and like I mentioned in the interview article, I have never been so...buzzed! The team at Microsoft really want this to be a ‘community’ driven sim, and there is no better group of people to do that, than you guys!!

Over the years, you have managed to keep the Flight Simulator franchise alive with scenery, aircraft, screenshots, forum posts, you name it...you did it, and this is what we now need to do with the latest title.

Sure, it’s early days, but let’s build this simulator together!

Excuse me, Dominic, but your post is a tad confusing to me. Who is the "we" that has "our very first ‘new’ Microsoft Flight Simulator forum"? Are you part of the new FS development team, or...??? Since I've never noticed you posting before (I do miss a lot, sometimes), perhaps you could mention something that would clarify this for me.

and like I mentioned in the interview article

Apparently I missed that article.

I've watched the FS98 and later "new" flight sim forums appear, so I'm a bit puzzled by your statement about first new forum.

He's referring to the new forum here dedicated to the upcoming sim from MS.

As for DominicS, he's been around here for some time now. [emoji4]

I recognized that, loki, but the statement "our very first ‘new’ Microsoft Flight Simulator forum" was a bit confusing to me, since I've watched new FS forums appear since the late '90s. Dominic provided me further info in a PM, so I now have a better picture of the context of his statements. Since I've mostly just been reading the forums for quite a few years, and seldom the interview/new product/etc. sections, I missed his coming on board.

So I'm finding out, but he's not been on the forums much, which is why I've missed seeing him around.
