Glass textures Question.

I asked this on another section just in case.

Is there was way to get the glass textures to look solid?

I recently converted an aircraft to a cargo, it had a glass nose cone as it was an ex-bomber, I thought it might look better with the nose cone as a solid to look more like the rest of the fuselage, it was just an experiment but I wanted to see if could be done and what it may look like.

So is there a way or not, if so please fill me in, pardon the pun lol.

The transparency of glass can be controlled by the alpha channel of the glass texture, black fully transparent & white will make it opaque or during the modelling process the author may have set the transparency of the material (texture) to a particular percentage making it not possible to make the glass fully opaque unless the glass material transparency settings are edited within the model file, if this is the case then you may be able to do this using modelconverterX, but you will not be able to do this if the glass nose uses the same material as the cockpit windows.
