B787 Dreamliner

Hello

When using the radio and asking for Class D airspace transition, how does one get the aircraft type "B787 Dreamliner" included in the transmission. All I get is aircraft type "Boeing" ?

I am guessing the I have to place some sort of line/reference in the aircraft.cfg file ?

Yes: look at the [GENERAL] section, there should be a line for atc_model=. It should say B787.

Now; when FS9 was released, the 787 wasn't even an idea (the project was called 7E7 back then). Maybe you have to add this model via EditVoicepack.

I just did a quick download of a FS2004 787-9 and the [General] section looks like this

[General]

atc_type=BOEING

atc_model=B787

I'm fairly sure that ATC, even with EditVoicepack installed, will give you just Boeing. I would try something like:

[General]

atc_type=BOEING

atc_model=B789 or 7E7

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️

There's an EditVoicePack callsign for the 787 by Lars Moellebjerg over at AVSIM, but I'm not sure that it will recognise the "atc_model=B787" entry in the aircraft.cfg.
