FSX KGEG Airport

Hello. I found an excellent Spokane International Airport (kgeg-1.zip) by Brett Delana for FSX. Is there any way to convert it to work in P3D V4? I have tried to just install it into P3d V4 as it is following advice I found on another web sight to no avail. Does anyone have any advice? Can I use the P3D V4 SDK to convert it? If so, how should I go about it?

I'd be very careful trying to install ANYTHING `non-native` into P3D v4.

V4 is a looooong way from initial closely-compatible with ANY version of FSX.

If you get it wrong, you're looking at CTD's and crashes in startup which can require a clean reinstallation to make work again.

Totally agree with Mark. If it didn't work right out of the box when you installed it, I'd move on. There is no "conversion". You'd have to manually look at each part, determine which are causing the issues and then fix them to be compatible. Not an easy job.

Thanks for the advice. I guess I'll have to wait for a talented scenery designer to create the airport for P3D V4.

Or get ADE and do it yourself...

I have ADE but cannot understand the complexities of it and even how to create custom airport buildings.

I am not that smart which is why I wait for an extremely smart and talented scenery designer to do it. After all, they are a gift to the flight sim community that we all extremely appreciate.

Yes Mr Zippy is correct. The files are in the file library under the P3D Scenery section. It is fantastic. There seems to be more and more freeware scenery becoming available for P3DV4. This is a good thing.
