Many flightsimmers and aviation enthusiasts may have missed last summer's story that Boeing has come to Antonov Design Bureau's rescue, a deal signed at the Farnborough International Airshow. Boeing investments will keep Antonov in business after Russian-made aircraft parts and business ties went south, a result of the extensive ongoing economic sanctions against Russia after its annexation of Crimea.
