Problem with VatSpy

Hi All,

After doing my due diligence and running a search, I didn't find anything that would help me, both here and on VATSIM.

My VatSpy won't load. I get the error as below.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

I'm running Win10 and FSX SE on this old laptop.

Thanks

Bill Mattson

Usually that error means the config file got corrupted or emptied out somehow so that it's zero bytes in length. You need to delete it and let VATSpy create a new config file with default settings. To do so, open an explorer window and enter this in the address box:

%appdata%\VAT-Spy

You should see a file called VATSpyConfig or VATSpyConfig.xml. Delete the file, and run VATSpy.

Easily found this with a Google search.

Yes, Zippy, but we all know that you are much more "tech savvy" than some of us old timers. Yeah, yeah, that's it's my old timers disease.

Thanks for your help ... as usual.

Hi, Bill! I usually don't know poop from Shinola. I think one is for polishing shoes;)

Thank You, Mr. Zippy, After Uninstalling, reinstalling a couple of times, I finally searched on the internet and found your fix.

Thank You again,
